Welcome Winter!!

Today is the first day of winter! It does feel like it here in California, but I'm sure it really hits hard with the blizzard in the Midwest. I have had the sniffles for the past 2 days, but with so much needing to be done, I must move forward! I went to bed last night at 730 and slept until 600am this morning! Decided to stay home from prayer this morning too, as I needed the extra rest! Hubby will be taking off work tomorrow and doing some shopping with me as well. A few more things needing to be purchased and then the stocking stuffers (always fun for me)! The menu has been planned for dinner weeks ago, and will shop tomorrow. Our Christmas Dinner Menu: Prime Rib, Potato Casserole, Water gate Salad, Sauteed Green Beans, Rolls and for Dessert- Cream Puffs and assorted Cookies!! Christmas Eve we usually have clam chowder with some really hearty rolls! My laundry has become a mountain that must be dealt with today and I plan on just doing some basic tidying up. The house isn't in complete disarray, but it needs a little help! So my day has been planned out..a little shopping, tidying and laundry. Have some photos to upload from our Family Christmas party last Saturday and some cute pictures of our grandson Nicholas as well! I wish you a warm and cozy day filled to the brim with rest, peace and Christmas wonder! Blessings to you and yours...I will drop in for a visit very soon!

The most blessed of Christmas's to you and yours, dear Mindy. I have been busy, busy, and have spent little or no time on the computer, so if I don't get another chance to say this: MERRY CHRISTMAS!
