Quiet Contemplation~

A quick post to say hello to you! It has been quite an amazing day. Breakthroughs on a few fronts...Praise the Lord!!! We had some very strange weather today...high winds, hail, rain, thunder and lightning!
I'm sitting here with dishes needing to be done, laundry needing to be folded...yet here I sit with a candle lit, and a heart filled with gratitude to such a loving Father....He hears when we call to Him, He answers as we wait on Him...I rejoice for God is my Father!
I'm pondering what is next on my journey as I walk with the Lord. Each day He brings something new my way.... life is never boring this is for certain!
With a list made with what needs to be addressed in the home tomorrow...I will once again ask the Lord to order my steps and fill my day as He wants... I leave you with this wonderful quote I found...it so intrigues me I would love the book!
"Fill the copper teakettle on the summer-kitchen stove and bring it just to the boil; take from the oven the pans of gingerbread. Serve the hot and fragrant spicy tea from an old Bennington teapot, and enjoy a country tea party in the Spring." Mary Mason Campbell ~~~ The Butt'ry Shelf Cookbook~~~

Yes, indeedy, Mindy...the Lord IS good! We are waiting on Him for some serious breakthroughs. In Him we have the victory. Can't you just feel it in your spirit, that the time is drawing near?

I DO like that wild wet windy weather, especially when I'm inside with a good book all snug and cosy. And I think it's definitely a good thing when God brings up things in our walk with Him, there's always a lesson in it...
