Changes....

Greetings on this last Saturday of 2006! The Christmas decorations are safely and carefully packed away for another year, and the furniture moved back to their rightful places. I did change some things around in both the living and family rooms, I am pleased with how the rooms look right now. Still have to clean the carpets, but will get to that perhaps next week.

Its a very chilly morning here at the homestead, but the sky is a brilliant blue and not a cloud in it! I ventured out to run an errand yesterday and attempted to purchase some potted paper whites, and much to my dismay, found not one. I am going to call the local garden center and see if they have any before I go out today!

What needs to be done today is:

Laundry

Make our new household notebook for the new year

Vacuum

I long to go and workout, but that will have to wait until I've completely gotten over the bronchitis. I'm feeling better each day and my stamina is slowly returning, but Praise the Lord it is returning!

The yard is full of leaves from this past weeks high winds! It was awful! Trees blown over and lots of damage has been reported throughout the counties. It seems to me that our weather is getting more volatile across the nation....and that time is accelerating!

We are on the cuspus of change..standing at the threshold of a new year in front of us, and the past year behind us....I am looking forward to the new year...I embrace it rather than disregard or even fight it. I am prayerful in seeking the Lord for this upcoming year. Knowing that God is directing me in all that I do, I purpose to remain fixed and stable in Him, and allow those things that have hindered me..within myself...to come to the light of His word and presence to be confessed and dealt with. Unknown fears, stubborness in areas of my life that I still try to hang on to, and I'm sure there are other things that are not pleasing to Him that He will reveal to me in due time. But when the Lord does reveals certain things to me, its always done is such a gentle and loving way...with no fear or condemnation. Its these changes in walking in my lifelong journey with my Father that I see Him, grow closer to Him and allow His love, mercy and forgiveness to wash over me. What I know for certain is that the Lord will fulfill His purpose for me! Start the new year seeking Him and asking our Lord Jesus what He wants and requires of you....God Bless you as He directs your paths for the New Year!!!
