~Gratefulness~

I was looking at my journal entries from last year...and I've just been given a gift again... Able to look at where I was then, and where I've been brought to now, in the present. I can see where I was in my journey with God and can see the growth in my relationship with Him as well as others. I saw the place where I was at the time...the hurt and pain that I was crying out to Him to heal and take away, and see it in gone in areas and abundant Grace given in others. I believe that all of us need to take a look back to where we have been, what He has taken us out of, and see where we are right now...Today! I was shown this, this afternoon...I sat in my room, and quietly opened my journal, and slowly read the pages, and as I did, tears welled up in my eyes, gently spilling down upon my cheeks, reading about my health, physical and emotional pain, my family, seeing on paper my private thoughts, cries, hurts and joys. It was evident to me He wanted me to see this...again...and know that it was by His Hand, His Mercy and His Grace that has brought me through to be where I'm at right now. It was time to take a look back at my journey with God. He does have my heart in His hand, and steers it, He has lit my path and made those crooked places straight...and for that my Lord I'm forever grateful, that you Love me as you do...you continue to amaze me...everyday is so exciting with you Lord....Each day is indeed a gift...something I do not take for granted.
