Saturday musings~

What a day its been thus far! I woke and quickly dressed, made my bed and started some laundry as soon as I came downstairs, made so coffee and settled into my devotions for the morning. I read Proverbs 31. and instead of saying as "she", I felt lead to say "I"...made it a personal confession of the day....as I sat there at my dining room table, I felt the peace of God wash over me and calm my spirit and mind, causing me to enjoy the moment and take in His presence that surrounded me. Watching the tree branches dance in the gentle morning breeze, and hearing the bird chirping, the sense of calm flooded my soul. I looked to my to- do list for the day then asked the Lord to order my steps, and off I went to take care of those chores needing to be addressed. I started cleaning out the Refrigerator, wiping it down and thoroughly giving it a good washing!! Once that was done, I made some Enchiladas for dinner tonight...yummy! I'm watching our grandson too, and Dear Hubby is watching an Oklahoma University football game....i've taken a break for the moment to write some. The remaining things to do are: Hang kitchen blind back up...nice and clean now! Fold some clothes, Grab my box of Autumn decorations and accessories for the house, and start creating some vignettes, and water in the yard (later today). I wanted to let you all know that I have swithed over to Blogger Beta, and since doing this I am unable to comment on alot of blogs that are still with regular Blogger...please know that I'm not forgeting about any of you, just not able to do it until they take care of this matter!!! Enjoy your weekend with your family and friends, and just know that the Lord is in control of all things....and His word says "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will trun the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth, These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them," says the Lord. Blessings to you....

You are definitely a peaceful corner in my day! Thanks for sharing such a sweet afternoon. And I love hearing about you and your husband. Sounds as if you have a wonderful relationship.

Hey, thanks for the warning about being Beta. I've got a handle on how to comment on yours. Another Beta gal taught me. Guess eventually, all of Blogger will be like this.

What a productive day you've had. You sound so cheerful and at peace. Isn't our God wonderful and faithful when we look to Him and ask Him to order our days for us?? Good reminder, thanks!
