A grateful heart~

I want to take this time to thank each of you for your support and prayers at this difficult time in our family. My husband said that the funeral was bittersweet, but a true celebration of my brother-in-law's life. I had prayed that this would be a time of restoration for my husband and the remaining member's of his family, and God answered my prayers!!! They came together and grieved for a short time on Saturday, but then celebrated his "Home going", as this is what he would have wanted! My husband and daughter are now on there way home and should be here on Wednesday. I just very thankful that God is with me and my family, and that we are not alone, and never forsaken. Great comfort and peace has come in the midst of this loss...so again, many thanks to each of you...May God bless you and keep you always...

Yes, the Lord is good, isn't He? Praise God that tho weeping may endure for a night, that JOY comes in the morning. And we will see our saved loved ones again!!!

Hello, Mindy,

This is my first visit to your beautiful blog. It's really gorgeous.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. These things are so hard - I've been through this too many times - but I find comfort in knowing I'll be reunited with all my loved ones someday. I really do.

I'm stopping by to thank you for the kind remarks you left on the post I did about getting my blogging back into a perspective that works with the rest of my life. When you have to make hard decisions, it's very encouraging to know people understand. So thank you for that. Very, very much.

just reading about jeff's passing ... it sounded like a time of rejoicing in heaven - he fought the good fight ... that is a victory to be able to say that ...

blessings to you ...

My heartfelt sympathy...God is always closest in times of trial, isn't he. Ever faithful, ever true. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalms 116:15

Sometimes we feel God's presence in the time that we need Him the very most. That time is when we are in the deepest of sorrows. Take care and know that He is with you...

Praying for safe travel for your husband and daughter. What a great testimony of God's goodness in a time of sorrow.
