A lazy Sunday afternoon......

Went to early church service today...Pastor was teaching on "Keys to Successful Living". Basic fundamental truths about our Christian journey. As always, came home with a renewed sense of who I am in the Lord, and so very grateful for my salvation and that I know Jesus.
My daughter and I have been preparing dinner for the last few hours. I decided to take a little break and post the days happenings. We are making Sour Cream cheesy Chicken Enchiladas, Mexican rice, and Tossed Salad. For dessert..my family's' favorite Banana Pudding. Some large mugs of iced tea and the dinner is complete!
Hubby is completing the installation of his surround sound system...I will so glad when this is done! Sometimes its rather difficult to live with so many on going projects, but completion is not far!!!
I went out yesterday and found some treasures at some local yard sales! One family that lives on the street behind us had some great stuff, and I have gone to one other yard sale that they had as well. She asked if I wanted to go to the Big Rose Bowl flea market with them today!!! I thanked them for the kind invitation but had to decline..but oh what fun that would have been!
Its just been a relaxing Sunday afternoon. I will water the plants in the yard this evening as its just to warm to do it right now. I must take some time tonight to plan the week ahead and get the daily routines in order!
I took some pictures of my treasures from yesterday and will post them tomorrow on the blog. In going to Walmart today I purchased a great magazine called "Fresh Outlook". It has some wonderful articles for Christian women...decorating, beauty, family, prayer...something for us all! Very encouraged to see that there are magazines for women of faith!!!
Hope all of you dear ladies enjoy your Sunday...be blessed!!! Till tomorrow...xo

Mindy, what a relaxing Sunday for you. My hubby and I got to spend it together and that was very special for me. I just wish I could get him to be able to take a whole weekend off. He is so in demand!!
