corner of my home~

This old stove is on my back patio. My husband purchased it off of ebay. In the small basket I have my garden utensils, gloves, seeds, and a big jar full of bird seed for the various feeders we have throughout the yard. He uses the inside part of the stove for storing more wood for the wood burning stove which is just across from it on the other side of the patio. The plant in the small pot is a nutmeg scented geranium, it smells so sweet! Purchased 1 plant years ago and have tons of the stuff now!! Also have a lavender scented geranium that my sister gave me a start of, and now I have at least 10 plants, my how they multiply. I went out early this morning and exercised, then hit a few yard sales, puchased a few things which I will take photos off and post hopefully tomorrow. Wasn't much out here for me this time, but that is alright. Marion asked me to take pictures, and I forgot to bring my camera...oops, but I promise that I will do this next time. Time to get myself ready for the day as i'm going to see my sister for a little while today. Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend, be safe, be blessed and enjoy the little things! xo

What a gorgeous stove - we use to have an old pot belly stove much smaller but still nice.

You mean there is a lavender scented geranium?!! I have an apple scented one and a mint one. The mint one is my absolute favorite but your lavender one is one I'd like to experience too...=). I used to have a choc.mint but really I couldn't smell it very well, but I don't have a great sense of smell. Your old stove is really special!!

Nutmeg and Lavendar scented geraniums...Hm. I did not know there was such a thing. I have always loved geraniums because they remind me of my grandmother. Everytime I see one I think of her. I like it that flowers remind me of people. We used to heat our porch with a cast iron stove. I love the heat...so warm...have a great day

I love how you've put your stove to use.

I didn't know about lavender and nutmeg scented geraniums. Did you buy them at a store or did you order seeds from a catalog?
