The Vegetable soup is simmering on the back of the stove and we will have chili/cheese cornbread to go with it tonight for dinner. I just came back from exercising, and now have the boost of energy that I need to finish up around here. Been working in the laundry room which is also the garage unfortunately, but we have been in the process of weeding through boxes and getting rid of excess "stuff"....taking our time, but slowly its shaping up. I moved osm more boxes out and crushed them down and that helped alot, made a very clear path, so now I don't feel like the contents of the garage is falling around me!!! I stripped the bed and put on the red flannel sheets, sprayed some rose water on them as I remade the bed, gathered up the dirty clothes and started the washer again! Now i'm ready to go outside and de-clutter my patio. I took some lovely photos of some flowers that are blooming in the yard and hope to get them up so you can see them..its such a beautiful day today, a few white billowy clouds going by and very cool breezes tell me that spring is near! Enjoy your day and make it count!! "May the Lord, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!" Deuteronomy 1:11

mmm Vegetable soup, sounds delicious! I've never actually made cornbread tho but if I can find cornmeal in the shops here then maybe I can make it in my breadmaker...will let you know how I go.

Your chili and cornbread sound very good! I need to exercise badly...I keep thinking I will and the day goes by so quickly. I'll be looking forward to seeing your blooming flowers. We have a crocus in bud but I'm wondering if it will bloom fully with the temps so cold now.

My decluttering has slowed somewhat, but I am getting the urge to get stuck into it again :)

There is nothing nicer than a pot of homemade soup with homemade bread to go with it. Roll on the colder weather!
