my kitchen window

This is another rooster that is in my collection...the pitcher holding the sunflowers is actually an antique metal milk pitcher that I purchased a few years ago for $2 at a yard/barn sale. I love the patina on this old metal jug...and in front is some potted Thyme, which I use quite alot! The pitcher gets used quite a bit, with different bouquets throughout the year, in the spring it may have some fragrant roses. in the summer sunflowers or daisies, fall some rich colored mums and during the holiday season some pine boughs and red berries! The photo was taken early in the morning and the sun hadn't quite come up yet....I love that time of morning...tranquility at its finest.

You must be feeling better! I'm glad. I think that the bad weather you had has reached Georgia! Your blog name really fits your posts! Thanks for the respite!
