Standing in faith~

It has been a whirlwind of activity the past 24 hours. Dear Hubby seems to have injured his back again somehow. We attempted to go to the ER last night, but once we were there...he took one look at the wait in the waiting room and wanted no part in that. He was in excruciating pain last night and this morning....he didn't sleep...nor did I. He had made an appointment at the Naval Hospital yesterday, and that was at 830 am this morning.I drove him to the appointment, we had just gotten through the checkpoint at the gate entrance, and he said"Pullover I can't take the pain anymore"...with that, the ambulance was called. They drove him the ER, and taken up to the clinic were his appointment was! After 3 hours there with Xrays, a shot in his back to help with pain, waiting for the prescriptions to be filled...we drove home. He slept most of the way and after the shot wore off, he became miserable yet again....at least he is able to walk today, as yesterday he wasn't! I called a friend from church that is part of the prayer ministry also, and asked her to pray and alert the others. I was also able to call the church office and speak to the assistant Pastor and request prayer for him. If you would be so kind and say a prayer for my husband. I am standing strong on God's word.... it a helpless feeling when you see your husband crying due to extreme pain. I know that as I prayed for him last night, the presence of the Lord was so strong in our room....such peace and comfort. I will post and let you all know how he is doing, as I'm able to. Please keep us in your prayers....thank you in advance my friends'.....you are ALL a great treasure! God's blessings of peace and health to you and your household....

My prayers are with your husband. I hope the pain is not as bad as it was, and yes it would be so hard to watch a loved one in pain. My prayers are also with you.

Mindy, I am so sorry about the pain you husband is having because of his back. I know it is horrible. I have been there and I prayed to die but God had other plans for my life and I lived with the pain, even after surgery but now, Thank God, if I am careful, the pain stays away. I know God has purpose and plan in all that He does. I will sure pray that your hasband pain is taken away if tha is in the will of God and that He may be able to bear it if it is not. connie from Texas

I'll paint you a rainbow as a gift from me,

Then hang it from heaven for the whole world to see.

On a canvas of love I'll cover your fears,

With a soft brush I'll dry all your tears.

I'll paint you a rainbow with feelings so deep,

My stroke will be gentle, my touch you may keep.

On a palette of words I will tenderly blend,

Colorful thoughts with bright verses to send.

I'll paint you a rainbow in reds, blues and gold,

Stretched like loving arms ready to enfold.

And deep in the center of the most vibrant hue,

I'll etch from memory the essence of you.

I'll paint you a rainbow, a bridge to my heart,

So loneliness and pain can begin to depart.

Just look up at the sky when life hits a bend,

I painted a rainbow for YOU.

Mindy, it is so hard to watch those we love suffer isn't it? I'll pray for both of you that God will sustain you during this difficult trial.

Oh Mindy... Prayers are coming your way for your husband. My own husband has so often had back pain and shots and surgery, so I know a little of what you are going through. May God comfort and strengthen you both at this time... Blessings, Debra
