December days~

Its been such a busy day so far for me. Been up since early this morning, and still have lots to do. I'm taking a break from the household tasks for a quick post. Dinner is in the crock pot, laundry is being done...but still have to remake our bed and put the red flannel sheets on them...they feel so cozy when its chilly outside. Just doing the basic Monday routine...blessing the home, and tidying up the house some. Have some sugar cookies to make this afternoon too! But its this kind of day that cause me to be some grateful that here at home. I don't feel that i have to quickly do this and that, but go about at a steady but leisurely pace to accomplish the tasks of today. I thank God for directing me in my daily comings and goings as well as His protection for me and my loved ones! Well time to get going once again, hope you all have a wonderful afternoon! I will be posting photos of the house dressed up for the holidays later this evening or tomorrow morning...so check back and take a peek if you'd like! Blessings to you this day..... "Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder

Oh that quote from Laura INgalls Wilder blesses me. Now there's a lady who enjoyed life! Her viewpoints enrich our lives. One year my hubby got me her cookbook for Valentines Day, and its got lots of pictures of the inside of her home. Special...smile.
