Thoughts from my day~

This day is winding down to a close, and I'm rather tired tonight, its a good tired though,as we had the pleasure of having our son and grandson here for the day, it was an enjoyable day that was spent with the family!
I tidied up the house, while the little one napped, and started dinner (Chicken and Rice) then Hubby came home and off we went to go cast our Vote!
Everyone is upstairs; dear daughter is studying as is dear son, and Hubby is getting ready for bed as he wakes at 400 am for work. I decided to take some time and post some random thoughts of the day while listening to some beautiful classical music. The ceiling fan is humming along, and have a pumpkin scented tealight in my beautiful crystal snowglobe candle holder . It was a gift from a dear friend of mine when she went to Sweden to visit. It casts such a lovely glow as the flame dances around creating facets of light, so pretty!
Today is was 90 degrees here today....I'm praying for much cooler weather, one would think its July and not November!
I've been working on my kitchen this week. I will be re-organizing my pots and pans as well as the mixing bowls and serving dishes/platters tomorrow.
This is the to do list for the remaining of the week:
Cleaning out the pantry and reorganizing it
Cleaning out the freezer and utilizing the space more efficiently
Cleaning out the Refrigerator and the oven as well
I can choose a project a day, and then just do my regular tidying throughout the day and I'll be done.
I'm being diligent about my time I spend with the Lord, for out of this time and relationship flows everything in my life. I'm pressing into Him more than ever, and I'm certain that God honors this. I must, I'm compelled to, for He beacons me to spend time with Him and talk with Him, share my heart, for He knows what my needs and struggles are before I do. This is just amazing to me, that He knows me better than I know myself. I find great peace in this...I'm reminded of the scripture in Matthew " For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also". Jesus is my treasure and He has my heart. Knowing that Jesus KNOWS me, the rights and wrongs, he knows my past and my future is In Him, gives me great hope to look towards tomorrow and know that All is well!!! Blessings to one and all~

Your post is always so great to read because it makes me remember that I need to get myself more focused. I get off on the wrong track most everyday and I need to get on the RIGHT one. Thanks for reminding me once again. Sandy
