Giving thanks~

Greetings!! I woke to a sunny morning here in California. Not a drop of rain in sight, but thank the good Lord, cooler temperatures by Wednesday!!! Thank you Lord!

Our daughter's birthday celebration was wonderful! Everyone had a great time, and I so enjoyed my visit with my dear friend. She has been such a blessing to me and to my entire family. Both our families will be gathering at my brothers house for Thanksgiving! We had such a lovely time last year all of us together, great food, shared memories and more memories created to tell from year to year! God is truly good...

Today I am "Blessing" my home, especially after the party on Saturday, it really does need it! The washer and dryer are humming along nicely, and the aroma of coffee fills the air this morning. I will vacuum, dust, sweep and mop the downstairs, and then do the same tomorrow for the upstairs. I have prayer at noon today and will be attending, then off to the grocery store to get the turkey and trimmings for our little Thanksgiving on either Saturday or Sunday with our little family. Hubby will deep fry the turkey, and its delicious! The kids will gather around and we will watch Christmas movies and draw names for our Christmas gifts!

This afternoon I will go and workout at Curves, then come home and prepare dinner! This is the plan for the day. Today I'm thankful for my Lord Jesus, with out Him, I could do nothing, but with Him I can do everything!!!

God bless each of you as you journey about your day, your comings and goings...Enjoy!!

"The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!" ~Henry Ward Beecher
