The Birthday Girl!

The weekend was busy but so rewarding! I went to church yesterday, praise and worship was so amazing...so beautiful! My daughter's friend went with us and went forward for the Alter Call and rededicated her life back to Jesus...what a great gift, to see a young adult be moved in this way!! My kids took me out for a birthday lunch, that was delightful, they even had the staff sing to me!!! Goodness!! A great time had by all!!
The women's conference was just amazing!! I came away refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated, just what I needed! God always meets us where we are and gives to us what we need to move forward in Him.

My plans for today include my "Weekly Home Blessing", doing laundry, and tidying up the house. After the business of last week, Monday is greeting me with a sense of calm and peace. The skies are cloudy here, and its been sprinkling off and on, and the smell of rain is so invigorating! Drinking my coffee and gathering my thoughts before I jump into the days events. A pot of homemade chicken noodle soup and freshly made bread,( courtesy of the bread machine) is on the menu for dinner, and the remaining birthday cake for dessert! Time to light a candle and put on some instrumental praise and worship music and begin my day. Blessings to you and your house. Order my steps Lord and show me what you want me to do this day for all I do I do unto you Lord...Amen.
