Harvest Happenings~

As promised, some more photos of my home with its cozy blanket of Autumn colors scattered here and there. This is the dining room, with a runner I was fortunate to find at a thrift store a few years ago, its slightly quilted and its reversible, with a Country Christmas tree on the backside, I think I paid $1.00 for it! The candle sticks were also a thrift store find from years ago, and the compote cream ware bowl i found on clearance, and its been used for every season, either with shells, potpourri and candles, pine cones, or artificial grapes as I have here. Just a few touches in my china cabinet complete the simple changes, I added small twinkle lights to the cabinet, so the silver pieces and china sparkle so pretty in the evening hours.

For today though, I will be:

Vacuuming the family room

Dusting the knick knacks in the family and living rooms

Making some bread and homemade Beef Stew for dinner

Frosting the carrot cake I made

Going to prayer

And finally preparing for dear Hubby and dear Daughter's return this afternoon sometime! Its been a week, and while I've enjoyed the quiet and reflective time, I'm glad they are coming home.

I will be be attending our Women's Conference at church tomorrow and Friday and will not be posting until this weekend. I looking forward to the time being spent in the Word, and fellowshipping with other women! Enjoy your day in whatever you put your hand to, and do these things as doing them unto the Lord. God Bless....

I love all your fall touches! This next week I am going to start my fall decorating. Usually I do it early in September but not this year!
