Happy September!

Hello everyone....I have returned from a restful and fun-filled vacation with my family! I took lots of pics and will be sharing them for the next few days....I am well and rested. Yesterday I woke early, and got a jump start on the laundry and getting the house in order. My Hubby and kids didn't trash the house, but it needed a "once over" which I was glad to do...Just jumped right in and started nesting and puttering which I love to do! Purchased some little things for our home on this trip...little accessories that are so charming!
This photo was taking in Seaside, just north of Monterey as we were driving from the inland area of Hollister. It was such a lovely drive with fertile fields of artichokes...and flowers everywhere. I couldn't believe how lush everything was in spite of the heat, but its so near the coast that they get the fog inland, and that is the difference!
So now I'm going to get my daily routines done, and once done, go through some of my Fall decorations and see what I will be using to spice up the house with Autumn colors and textures!
