Letting go and gaining faith~

The doctor appointment turned out fine! Have to go back early part of next week and have some blood tests done...fasting blood sugar, cholesterol etc...but all is well!! Went to work yesterday, what fun that was!! Opening a new store and getting the accessories ready to put out into the displays!! When I returned home, I was so tired...I haven't worked outside the home in 4 years, but I went to bed early and slept in a little this morning and that was a luxury for me!!! I have found myself getting more and more anxious, and really not knowing why. I have to gather my bible and a notebook, and pray, sing, and then finally get quiet before the Lord and wait, and as I wait, I notice the anxiety leaves, my breathing is relaxed, and I let go of the *stuff*....the things that hinder us, those things that we carry and not even aware of carrying, those things that cause us not to hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit....one by one as these worries, anxieties, burdens are brought to my remembrance, confessed before Him ,and given to Him, and yielding to the process of letting go and trusting God with it all, then comes that blessed peace and assurance, that He is truly watching over me, and through this my faith increases....and I gain so much through this particular lesson, and the knowing that this will happen again, and knowing that God will meet me at this place again....for when the student is ready the teacher always comes!!! Blessings to you all....

Have you returned to work? It sounds like it. I must have missed this some place. I loved the one sentence in your blog...
"for when the student is ready the teacher always comes." what a good thought..thanks for that!
take care and have a relaxing weekend.
God Bless...Sandy

It is amazing how the Holy Spirit calms that anxiety once you sit down and spend time with God. I have been continually amazed at how the peace of God truly does RULE AND REIGN in our hearts. I need to spend a little more time too, as lately I've just felt a little "rocky". Thanks for this post of encouragement.
