Monday morning greetings~

What a busy weekend we had here! My nephews' graduation party was on Saturday afternoon, and its about 1 hour away but traffic was horrendous and it took almost 2 hours to get there! But once there, a good time was had by all! Enjoyed seeing my brother and his family. My younger sister and her son live with my mother, and she created lovely little tablescapes and vignettes with food, photos and vintage plates...just beautiful! Lots of food as always at our family get togethers! We left for home about 1030 that evening. We woke yesterday to drive into Orange County and spend the day with our dear friends!! We had such a lovely time with them, always do when we get together! Her hubby made filet mignon, baked potatoes, salad, and corn on the cob! For dessert we had banana cream pie, strawberry pie and apple pie! The guys went to Lowes and Home Depot, and the kids played cards, and my best friend and I talked and gave each other back rubs!!! It was a delightful day and relaxing for everyone!

Today will be spent catching up on the household chores. I have stripped the bed, airing out the feather bed, sprayed lavender water on the mattress and pillows, opened the blinds in the bedroom and let the sunshine in to do its duty!
Much laundry to do, not including the "Weekly home blessing": vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping, but it will all get completed today. I will pace myself and allow the Lord to order my steps, and in doing this All is Well!

I have wreath to make to hang on our side yard fence. I purchased some silk sunflowers that were marked down 70% off at Joanns, a grapevine wreath, and some raffia. Just another little touch to make my house a home!

Well break time is up and i'm to continue the weekly home blessing now....I wish you a lovely day filled with God's grace! Blessings..................

You are always talking about lavendar water. Where can you purchase that? I love lavendar. I was just wondering. Sounds like you had a good time with family. We did too on father's day. Our granddaughter is here spending a few weeks with gpa and gma...
