Front porch welcome~

I thought that I would put a photo of my front porch. An old covered wagon seat adorns the porch as well as an antique milk jug we hauled from my father- in-laws place in Oklahoma years ago. The little heart shaped welcome sign was a gift from my mother. On the opposite side is a flower beds with roses.
Its 955 am here on the west coast and its already 89 degrees!! Yikes, its going to be HOT today!!!
Dear daughter and I have some Father's Day shopping to do, a gift for our son as this is his first Fathers Day, and of course for my Dear husband too! I wanted to get an early start but I was able to sleep a little longer today, which is what i've been doing the past few days, resting and reading the Word of God. I was going to go workout today but decided to wait until tomorrow and not push myself.
Benn putting the entertainment center back together again, we found it at an antique shop in Riverside and its circa 1930's deco piece, but Hubby has worked it so the stereo surround sound, CD/DVD player, etc...fit inside the cabinet doors, and the TV sits on the buffet part. So next on the plan is window casing ,then the new window treatments go up. So always lots of to here at Providence Gate homestead!!! My mother has always said, "As long as you have a home, there will ALWAYS be something needing to be done", and that couldn't be more true!
I am feeling better but still taking it easy, have my nephews Graduation party at my mothers house, she lives about 1 hour away. Looking forward to seeing the family!
I bid you all a wonderful day in the Lord! Stay cool, sip something refreshing and find a shady spot and ENJOY!!
Blessings to you......

Isn't that the truth? There always is something to do! I did my Father's Day shopping yesterday and I'm going to join a gym today with my workout buddies. Post some pictures of the cabinet. We want to see! Have a great weekend!
