the garden...

the picture of the left is taken under the lemon tree...quite a peaceful corner......the other photo is a taken of my roses..its such a beautiful canopy of color! They seem to be over grown, but every year we cut them back and this is what happens during spring...they are glorious! Been enjoying puttering about in my yard/garden...planted some morning glories yesterday...and a few days ago...some sunflowers that Peggy kindly sent me...(thank you again)...and some balck-eyed susans, forget-me-nots, and ecinechea. I have sweet peas soaking in water to plant tomorrow, we shall see what this garden brings forth. Just going to enjoy my weekend with some sunny days...no rain today or tomorrow!! Yippee! My son and daughter in law will be here tomorrow with baby Nicholas too....planning on having a bbq in the afternoon and have
boys man the grill! My sister is coming today and we are hitting the yard sales....never know what we will find...the thrill is in the hunt. I leave you with this scripture "You will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here I am." What a promise!!!

Oh to have such abundance of roses must be like a dream come true! It also must be wonderful to have family so close. The bbq sounds like a good time and good eats...smile. I like your blue chairs in the garden too. Sunday blessings to you!

Oh Mindy...thank heavens the swap parcel arrived safe and sound. I've been spending time with a friend who's very ill and I hadn't checked your peaceful corner for a few days and was beginning to panic, thinking that it hadn't arrived. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed everything. What fun this was!
