its cold outside!!!!

Its been quite a day here! Hail, winds and rain!! Our son called and said it snowed were they were at...jut amazing to me really as this is very unusual weather for this part of the country! My husband and I went to the local home improvement store and purchased some out door furniture....its brown wicker, came with cushions too! Here it is about 40 degrees outside with a wind chill of 35 and we are shopping for patio furniture!!! Dinner is made and we are having leftovers...the family is very happy about that too!! I had plans to get some things done is my bedroom, but didn't do it, got out of the house and enjoyed this weather while it is here! Have a fire in the fireplace and sipping some hot tea. Its just a great night to get cozy and try to stay warm.
Enjoy your evening!!

Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend :)

I'm looking forward to getting cosy in front of the fire in a couple of months...

I just cleaned my deck today and cleaned the patio furniture. Its been a nice 80 degrees which is unusal for us this time of year. No fire for me but I did sit on the deck and drink a tall glass of ice tea and watch the birds at the feeders.

why that's warm springtime weather you are talking about! :o) ...

we got some weather too, first ice rain, then snow on top ... not nice driving for those that had to go somewhere ...

i cozied up with a Karen kingsbury book - Sarah's song (red glove series) ... it made me cry in a good way!

blessings to you!

It does sound lovely and warm and cosy, it is normal weather for where you live at this time of year?

this weather is very odd for this time of year...it never snows here where we live and last year it did!! Also the snow level on the mountains is so low too! 1500 feet!
Peggy sounds like you have the right idea!! Watching the birds and drinking ice tea in 80 degree weather...it will be this way here later in spring for certain
