cold rainy Friday....

They say that we can expect thunderstorms and hail today...lots of rain and winds! I have a few errands to run before the rain starts. Been up since 3:30 this morning...had about 1/2 a pot of coffee...yikes! Must go and exercise again today, feel so much better when I do, alot more energy. Have some chili in the crockpot already for dinner.
I am getting so excited about the seasonal swap that Robyn is putting on. My swap partner is Jayne ...so I will be busy getting her items together this weekend. I'm ready for a relaxing Friday, a day for puttering and catching up on my reading. I'm currently reading, "Daring to be Yourself", by Alexandra Stoddard. I have read it before, but as I reread some of the books that I have, I always seem to glean a little something more than the first time I read it.
My grandson is sick as is my best friend...seems like a few of my blogging friends are also under the weather. Its been a very weird winter here, very warm and unseasonal for this time of year, and now we are getting alot of rain, which i'm certainly enjoying!
Its off to start my day now, will write more later today...well wishes to all and enjoy your day!
Today verse...."You who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, says the Lord." Malachi 4:2

Thank you, Mindy, for that Scripture. I'll remember that when the rain heads our way! It is very uplifting. Hope you have a blessed weekend!

Hope your grandson and friend have quick recoverys. Rainy days are wonderful tranquilizers...good for reading and taking the less traveled road...smile. Aha!! a crock pot meal waiting...sounds good! I made split pea soup today, which goes right along with my relaxed day of reading.

I have just read my first Alexandra Stoddard book "Things I want My Daughters to Know", and now I want every single one of her books! I just love her writing, so beautiful and really speaks to me.
