change of seasons...

I have tried to upload photos to show the package i'm sending to Jayne for the seasonal swap, but Blogger isn't cooperating right now. I always tried to post yesterday and I wasn't able to....anyone else having problems with this?? Had a very enjoyable weekend and tried to stay warm. My daughter went to the snow 2 days in a row and yesterday came home with a pickup load of snow in her truck!! She had snowball fights with her brother and with the neighborhood kids....it was alot of fun watching them play as they did when they were younger! She took lots of photos too and I hope to post them later today along with the others. Already have my laundry started and planned what dinner is...Fajitas...yum! I made 2 flower arrangements yesterday. I asked my daughter when she went to the store to purchase 2 bouquets for me...then started cutting and arranging them. One arrangement I used a vase, then other one I used a white pitcher with roses on it...both arrangements are very informal, just the way I like them...but it adds so much to a room..just having fresh flowers not costing but $8.00 for both bouquets. The sun is out and its a beautiful day here...we are supposed to get more rain over the weekend. The storms that moved thru here over last weekend are now in the midwest and from what the news reports are saying, lots of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes...yikes! To all who live in the is area, take caution and please be safe! I was able to get the house in order from the chaos of the weekend, that took most of the day yesterday, so today if my free day in a sense, and I really want to get out doors and putter about in my yard....my fruit trees are blooming too...sending a clear promise that spring is drawing o' so near! From blogs that I visit regularly this seems to be the common thread...spring, new season, rebirth, scattering seeds about..new life...spring never was my favorite time of year while growing up. I loved the autumn and winter seasons, but as I've grown older, I have had a change of heart...I have come to truly appreciate this season of rejuvenation...time to get my home is order, to purge and allow the new to come forth, not only in material items, but spiritual as well..to get my life in order and allow the new growth process to happen. Growth is most of the time a painful process, at least it has been for me, time of incredible stretching and standing in faith that He knows what is best and allow the process to continue and to yield to it and not run! I do run at times...to be honest but...I always come to the point where i'm tired and know that I must yield and give the control over to Him and allow His will to be done in my life. Thats were I find myself today...yielding in a different area in my life than the last...the process..the order...the change of seasons...the transition to the new that waiting for me...

I can't wait to see the photos you have :) i love to have fresh flowers in my home too, but they are very expensive here, so unless they are growing in my garden, it doesn't happen :(

I have had problems too. What I am now doing when Blogger is non-co-operative is to use Photobucket at www.photobucket.com. When you install their uploader you can right click on your picture to send it to photobucket. When it is nicely esconced in photobucket it gives you a tag you can copy and paste into your post. You just need to add another tag before the post to say where you want your picture: right, left, center. The tag is p align="center" or "right" or "left" in arrowhead. (Blogger would not let me put the tag as it appears) There are also features I like at www.bubbleshare.com. You can see that I have a little group of Australian art pictures at the top of The Trad Pad at http://tradpad.blogspot.com. A lot of people use flickr but flickr and I have not really connected.
