Tuesday morning and up early!! We had rain, sleet and hail here over the past weekend! I enjoyed it so much as we need every bit of rain at this point. I feared for the pansies that I had planted during the 80 degree temperatures about 2 weeks ago...so far they have faired well....Had a restful weekend, I was able to read and read some more!Enjoyed the visit with my son and his family on Sunday, it was cold and Hubby and son's feared the "cold" and grilled chicken for dinner, it was quite good.
Didn't feel like blogging to much over the weekend, thought it would be wisdom to back off a bit as not to get burned out and feel obligated to blog. I read some other blogs as well, and it seems to me as this may be a resounding theme...to take a break and create some balance, which is so true!
I am looking forward to being a part of Ms.Robyn's seasonal swap what a terrific and fun idea! She is a very vintage gal who loves keeping her home. I have met some very lovely ladies through blogging, some kindred spirits even though we have never met face to face, the connection is there, and that is the most amazing thing to me!
Have a load of laundry to do...and expecting my grandson in a few minutes...hope all of you have a lovely, peaceful day!!!

Sounds like a lovely relaxing weekend Mindy :) You are right about taking a wee break from the blogging once in a while - it's good for all of us!

Hi Mindy - I am so looking forward to the seasonal swap..and the many more I have popping into my head :)
as to taking time out - I think each to their own. I find blogging is a release for me and luckily I am strong enough to complete my housework before I settle down to do some serious blogging. I too find a connection with lots of ladies here in our little blogging community and feel blessed that I am counted as their friend. love to you xoxo
