a rainy Sunday....

I woke to rainy gently hitting my window this morning, I looked out and the clouds were a dark grey and looked rather menacing. I decided to get my errands done early and get home due in part that our son and his family will be here for dinner today. Took my time getting ready for the day and just enjoying the fact I have routines in place in my life, of which, i'm so thankful for! Had some coffee with my hubby and off to the store. Purchased some more lace panels for the windows in my room...they were on clearance...what a great deal! Went to the market and picked up some deli items that we needed. dear hubby is grilling "Tequila Lime Chicken" tonight, and I picked up potato salad, marinated veggies, and a broccoli slaw, along with fresh garlic bread and a green tossed salad...dinner will be complete! I have my candles lit..."Lemon lavender" from Yankee Candles, smells so fresh and clean! A fire in going in the fireplace, and the music I have playing is Celtic harp & dulcimer....its very soothing to the soul....enjoy your day and may it be spent in rest and refreshing!
