A lovely surprise awaited me as I opened my email and found that I was given this award! Thank you to my new friend over at " Thru Pink Curtains"!! What a blessing this is! So my friend...thank you!!

Just a few things in my life that brings me joy! I have had another opportunity to minister at the Women's Fellowship meeting at our church this past Thursday! It was a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord!!!
I am so looking foward to the next few weeks as I prepare oour home for the Autumn season. Planning on some deep cleaning....baseboards, carpets..etc. Nothing better than a clean, organized, de-cluttered, smelling of apples and cloves kinda home!!! That is what i'm working towards in the next few weeks. Need to get some new batteries for my camera so I can tkae pictures of the changes that will be made! I so enjoy sharing these with you all too!
We are enjoying our long Labor Day weekend. As it winds down...I look toward the Autumn season..my favorite time of year. Even though it is still 90 degrees here....I press on knowing it WILL change soon enough!!!
I have some spaghetti sauce in the crock pot with some Italian sausages...yum! I will fix a salad and have garlic bread too!! Easy enough dinner..but hearty for all of us.
Tonight I'll make a cup of hot tea, sit down with my calender and start filling it in for the month! Tis a busy month with birthdays and our anniversary on Sept 3rd! So I will light a candle next to my chair and settle in for a little productive planning time before settling in for the night. I pray you stay in the shelter of the Almighty God, many blessings to you and your house!! xo

Mindy, how sweet you are! Thank you for this award and the honor of it! I've enjoyed your post...'working towards apples and cloves' hmmmm what good smells. I am trying to declutter my craft room and am at a standstill. Wishing you all the blessings one day can hold...especially tomorrow on your Anniversary. Happy Anniversary to you my friend! And, thank you again for the award..what a nice ending to the afternoon you've given me. I am always encouraged by your stedfast rejoicing in the Lord,(Your women's fellowship group is blessed indeed) and also by your consistent 'de-cluttering' to keep your home so inviting.
Dearest Mindy, it was so good to hear from you! I have been away from blogging for quite awhile (listening to that still small voice;o) and when I came back it was such a treat to read new posts you had written. I always leave your blog feeling uplifted and filled with joy!
The post below is near and dear to my heart. I could relate to everything, word for word. Isn't it wonderful to get to a place where you stop caring about others opinions and live the life YOU were meant to live? We share so many of the same loves......can you just picture us as little girls if we had a playhouse? What fun we'd have had moving furniture around all day!! lol I can see it now.... we'd have a beautiful bouquet of dandelions sitting in a jelly jar, pressed flower pics on the wall, and a tea party ready to be enjoyed with friends!!
