A Loved ones passing~

Last night we received the phone call that my husbands dear brother had passed away peacefully. Jeff had been very ill for over 20 years and truly fought the good fight of faith. He lived on for his family, bringing them up in the Lord and teaching them the ways they should go. My dear husband and daughter left this morning on the train back to Oklahoma. We aren't sure when the funeral will be, but they are going nonetheless.
Jeff lived with us out here in California for 3 years or so, and those times in spite of all the pain he was in, continued to do as much as he could to help others out. I remember many times when he was in bed after dialysis, he was so sick, I would gently knock on his door and ask if he felt like having some company, he always "Sure, come on in". He was a gentle soul and so kind to everyone he met. I would read the bible to him often, and we prayed together too...I have those precious memories of my dear brother-in-law to hold on to, and hold on I will.
His children we gathered around him, and they say that he was at peace, He knew where he was going and who He would be with, for He loved Jesus with in whole heart, and never feared talking about the Lord and sharing his faith. My heart was heavy last night, but joy came this morning, Thank you Lord for this! He is at peace and received restoration when he left to be in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Goodbye dear Jeff, you will be missed, and what you wanted to accomplish in your life, you did ALL to the Glory of God.

Then your family is having one of those sweet, but painful times. You have the right outlook and how wonderful that your brother-in-law *is* without discomfort now. So amazing to think about, isn't it.

Hope you can sleep well enough apart from your husband. That's always a stretch for me.

Love to you.
