A time to heal.....

Its been a few days since my last post and alot has happened. I took dear Husband to the hospital on Thursday afternoon after having acute pain after he ate. After spending 5 hours in the ER and running tests on him they found a kidney stone! Since then he has had no pain, but gave him a prescription to a pain-killer if needed. He didn't go into work yesterday but did get p and go in today and will work tomorrow. Both of us are feeling much better, I'm still battling with the fatigue and lack of energy. Both of us are completely on the mend. Dear Hubby hasn't passed the stone yet, and isn't in anymore pain. I have prayed and prayed for him as well as family members and friends. If you would please continue to pray and agree with us in prayer that this stone would pass without any pain and that God would continue to heal him and bring total restoration to his body, soul, and spirit. Today My plans are to right the wrongs in the home right now and just nest....laundry, detoxing the house of the virus with lots of tea tree oil and fresh air, along side with some lysol!! Hubby will no doubt have a early day today and then we can spend it sitting outside this afternoon after the temperature cools down some. Some candles lit this evening on the patio, gentle warm breezes, and a good book is what is in store for me today!!! Thank you for your continued prayers....what a blessing it is to know such lovely, faith-filled women as yourselves!! May God continue to bless each one of you and yours....xo

Gosh I'll definately pray for him.My stepdad had kidney stones and they were so painful especially because nobody took him seriously. So glad that your hubby has been diagnosed and has pain relief if needed.

Prayers from here as well. Hope you can have a restful weekend. The upside is that kidney stones are common...not that that makes the pain any less.

I know it must be hard for you though, watching him suffer.

Let us know...

ouch, your poor dh, I sympathise with him, my dad had kidney stones a few years ago, I thought having a baby was bad enough but my father looked like he was in so much pain. Prayers for your dh from me.

Dear Mindy, after what my father has gone through and having your prayers offered up on his behalf, it would be an honor to pray for him. I pray for you regularly and will add your husband to my list. God bless you, dear Sister!

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. My husband went through that about a year ago. I had to take him into the hospital and he stayed. He finally had to have an operation and was in a very bad way. They had to go in and get that silly thing as it was not coming down like it was supposed too. He was in a TON of pain. His face turned grey. I read him your post so he can really sympathize with your husband. If it comes back again get him back to the ER. This is nothing to fool around with. Just wise advice from those that have been there...
