Happy Valentine's Day!!!

My kids are making dinner tonight for all of us! What a wonderful gift for Valentine's Day. I plan on reading this afternoon. This morning will be spent puttering about in the yard...it is supposed to be 10-15 degrees cooler than it was yesterday, all I know it is a beautiful morning right now. Been up since 5am...love getting up early and having some quiet time before the rest of the house wakes and readys for the day. Its a peaceful time, a time for me to be all by myself ,alone with my thoughts, think and plan, sometimes create! I do alot of journaling and write down what inspirations I receive during this time of day. I will be making some sugar free brownies today for my hubby, found this recipe, and thought I could just tweak it some and use Splenda, instead of sugar and then cut out the brownies, dip them in chocolate (Bakers, unsweetened, but then adding the Splenda) so I have that to do today....may take some pics of them an post them later today! Hope everyone has a Valentines Day spent with loved ones, and if away from your loved ones...celebrate ..YOU!!!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

Those brownies sound yummy! It's so hard to cook sugar-free on Valentine's, isn't it? The waffles I made were super high-fiber, then I used a fresh strawberry puree for topping sweetened with a little Splenda. It's a fun challenge to make special foods that look just as delicious as the real thing!
